GR Basses will be
introducing the new “Road Series” model at Winter NAMM 2001. The
RSP4 will be latest addition to GR’s distinguished line of
instruments. The company has earned a reputation for excellence in
recent years by blending innovative features with classic style in
great sounding and playing basses. All GR Basses have a uniquely
designed open headstock and curved heel with matching neck contour.
The Road Series will be no exception. Its maple neck is hand
crafted to the standards set by the custom “Classic Series” and
will be manufactured in the same plant in San Diego, California.

The bass is a production version of the GRP4 minus the pick guard,
knob plate and custom GR bridge. What’s left is a stunning yet
simple bass that’s rugged and ready for the road.
The Road Series price tag will
start at a mere $949, bringing high end quality, detail, and
tone to an affordable price range. The new RSP4 will be available in
black, transparent burgundy, green burst, and 3 color vintage burst.
